Consider This Your Formal Introduction

Keshia N. Lynch

Most consulting firms launch a blog and immediately start publishing content nobody asked for. Strategy tips. Funding trends. Five steps to this, three mistakes to avoid that. I have read some of them. You deserve better.

The LYNK Report exists because the organizations doing the most critical work in this country are often the least equipped to talk openly about what they are navigating. Not because they lack insight. But because there are very few spaces that speak their language without also talking down to them.

This is that space.

Who Is LYNK?

Lynk Development and Strategy was built for mission-driven organizations doing extraordinary work with one hand tied behind their backs. We provide strategic consulting in public health, grant writing and funding strategy, and program development. Not as a vendor. As a partner accountable to your outcomes.

I am Keshia N. Lynch, Founder and Principal Consultant. I started my career in public health in 2014 in Madera County, California. From there my work grew throughout the state, from rural communities to metropolitan cities across California. Each chapter added a layer. The through line was always the same: organizations with extraordinary missions struggling to build the structure to match them.

Somewhere along the way I also became the person in the room who said the quiet part out loud. Lynk is where that finally became a business model.

The Communities at the Center of This Work

My background is not general. Over more than a decade in public health, I have worked directly with and on behalf of communities whose needs are too often treated as afterthoughts in program design and funding strategy. That includes Black and Brown communities, people living with HIV, individuals managing chronic disease, youth, elderly populations, women's health with particular focus on Black women, the LGBTQ community, and people experiencing homelessness.

These are not bullet points on a resume. They are the through line of everything written here.

What to Expect

The LYNK Report publishes on the 10th of every month. Mark it. Some posts will go deep on strategy, funding, and program mechanics. The operational realities that do not get discussed enough but absolutely should. Others will respond directly to what is happening in the sector right now, including policy shifts, funding landscape changes, and conversations happening in boardrooms that are not making it to the field.

When something newsworthy breaks that affects the communities and organizations we serve, you may get a bonus post. Consider those a gift.

You can expect honesty. You can expect substance. And occasionally, you can expect me to say the thing everyone in the room is thinking but nobody is writing down. You are welcome in advance.

If that is not your style, no hard feelings. But if it is, stay close. We are just getting started.

The people who need us most deserve our best, not our burnout. Fill your cup. Show up fully. Pay it forward.
